System Features

Durasteel systems offer a unique blend of features, thanks to the combination of mechanically-bonded steel and fibre-reinforced cement. This enables the systems to not only offer the highest levels of fire and blast protection, but many additional supplementary features which are often just as important when making a decision on the most suitable fire rated system to install.

4 Hour fire Protection

Up to 240 minutes integrity, stability and insulation, fire attack from both sides

Highly Blast Resistant

Tested to 2.7 bar (270kN/m²) overpressure and CPNI Protected Spaces C15 for anti-terrorist blast protection

Hydrocarbon Fire Resistant

Tested to H120 Hydrocarbon fire rating

Impact Resistant

Tested to 3000J swingball test post-4 hour fire test

Acoustic Insulation

Up to 56dB acoustic reduction

Lightweight & Space-Saving

Typically 6-8 times lighter than structural concrete and no dedicated foundations required

Climate Impervious

Can be installed both internally and externally
