Access Panels
Durasteel fire-rated access panels can be installed to Durasteel ceilings, barriers and cable turning boxes to provide easy and quick fire-rated access for maintenance inspections of building services and cable pulling. Durasteel access panels are constructed from a single layer of 9.5mm Durasteel with a channel binding welded frame to all edges, complete with two D-ring handles for easy and safe handling. The access panels are mechanically fixed to the surrounding Durasteel system using M10 bolts at 200mm centres, and can be easily and quickly removed and reinstalled using a socket or impact driver.
Multiple access panels can be joined together in order to create much larger openings for equipment access in both wall and floor assemblies.
We also offer fire-rated hinged access hatches as an alternative for even faster access.
